• On July 27 2016, the Chinese Water Deer was added.
• During the 2016 Winter Festival, a Magical Caribou Plush was obtainable through catching a faerie that could transform any villager into a Caribou.
• Also during the 2016 Winter Festival, a Magical Red-Nosed Deer Plush was obtainable that could transform any villager into a red-nosed deer.
